Survey Says!

The National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC) and the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) has teamed up with the market research firm Valmont Research LLC to conduct a nationwide, confidential survey about certification and dental laboratory issues. The purpose of this research is to gain your perspective on the dental technology industry. Your opinions are very valuable and will be used to guide the leadership of NBC and NADL in future decisions.

Valmont Research will collect, analyze and report results to NBC on its certification programs and to NADL on laboratory industry data. Your participation will help NBC develop of an in-depth profile of current and aspiring CDTs and gather information about the value and process of technician certification. Also, Valmont Research will survey laboratory owners and managers of certified and non-certified dental laboratories about the benefits, barriers and the process related to technician and laboratory certification.

NADL will be soliciting your responses to membership benefits, association governance/management and legislative/advocacy efforts. Other issues that need your input range from compensation and benefits to special topics about infection control and safety issues.
