A survey released last week by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) showed that 81 percent of U.S. employees are satisfied at work, with 38 percent very satisfied and 43 percent somewhat satisfied. 7 Steps to Get Out of Overwhelm and Get Stuff Done
One of the biggest challenges my clients face is how to manage their time and get everything done on their to do list. And when I begin asking questions about what they're doing, what's on their list, and how they manage their time, I keep seeing the same patterns over and over and over again.
The biggest mistake I see many entrepreneurs make that keeps them overwhelmed is that they do not make distinctions between projects and tasks, and there is a huge difference between them.
My very unscientific definitions to distinguish between tasks and projects are:
A key component in maintaining or establishing a profitable margin is the implementation of standard operation procedures. Standardizing methods not only ensure efficiency, they contribute greatly to maintaining consistency, which allows us to be profitable.
Standard operating procedures are key components to any business but often times are only used in day-to-day production methods. These production methods are only half of a laboratory's business. The other half is establishing SOP's for repairs and mistakes.

This virus is passed through contact with contaminated blood and most commonly through shared needles during illegal drug use.
The most common symptoms are mild and flu-like and may include:
Social media outlets have made it easier for people to share information with others around the world. Some use these outlets to share life experiences with friends and family, while others use these outlets to share negative experiences about businesses. With just a few key strokes, an individual can put a ding in a company’s reputation. As more and more people read the post and post their own negative experiences, it can become devastating to a company. Organizations that are having their reputation attacked must respond timely to minimize the damage done.
An exciting new proposal to allow dentists to receive continuing education credit for their state license renewal by attending NBC-approved continuing education courses in dental laboratory technology is finding broad support in Illinois.
Gregory Jacob, DDS, practices in Glenview, Ill., and spoke with NADL about the initial concept. The Illinois Dental Laboratory Association agreed that Jacobs' concept would yield benefits to dental laboratory technicians as well as dentists.
