Crown & Bridge Technician
We are a full service lab with an overseas job opportunity. Our lab is equipped to provide crown and bridgework, implant restorations, attachments dentures and partials. We are looking for an Expatriate to join our premier dental lab as a Crown & Bridge Technician on a 1-2 year International assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Crown and Bridge Technician to lead quality assurance and to oversee incoming and outgoing quality control of all crown and bridge, cosmetics, and implant products, as well as, train, assist with complex cases and implement programs to reduce remakes, while working overseas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
On-site lead technical expert and trainer. Establish and ensure quality control protocols. Develop a team that will evaluate all incoming impressions and outgoing product and troubleshoot problem cases. Problem solve and work to correct production line issues real time. Brainstorm and implement process improvements and efficiencies to improve and drive down turnaround times. Weekly reports to upper management on key metrics and management issues. Aggressively work to improve quality rejects rates to 2% or below. Ensure that alloy management is a continued focus; ensure that SOPs for alloy management are reinforced. Work with management to ensure that production line employees are experienced and accurately trained.Requirements:
* A minimum of 10 years' experience with C&B alloys, porcelain alloys, pressable ceramics and structural ceramics.
* CDT highly preferred.
* Prior expat experience preferred. Preparedness to reside Internationally.
* Ability to respect other cultures and represent Lab in a professional manner.
* Strong porcelain skills required.
* The candidate must possess the ability to construct a crown from start to finish.
* Solid experience with crown and bridge implants and combination case planning.
* Strong computer skills
* Excellent communication skills with additional language skills a plus.
