With the recent announcement that Patterson Dental President Scott Anderson will succeed retiring James W. Wiltz as president and chief executive officer of Patterson Companies, Inc., Anderson has named the next president of the company’s dental business.

Paul Guggenheim will serve as Patterson Dental president, effective at the start of the new fiscal year in May. Guggenheim, who currently manages Patterson’s Southwest Region, has held various distinguished leadership posts in the dental supply industry for more than 25 years, including president of Guggenheim Brothers Dental Supply Co.

“Paul possesses a keen understanding of our customers, our business partners and the dental industry that makes him ideally suited to lead Patterson Dental into the future,” Anderson said.
