Vident and Sieber Team up to Present Comprehensive Crown Course

Known for his knowledge of art and photography and the influence that art has on the field of dental ceramics, Vident teamed up with Claude Sieber, MDT to offer a comprehensive, two-day program that focused on teaching students his trademark shade taking and porcelain build-up techniques for ceramic crowns. Attendees learned the fine art of producing porcelain restorations that highlight the subtle nuances of light and shape and truly mimic nature. In this hands-on course, participants produced two VITA all-ceramic crowns comprised of esthetic VITAVM9 porcelain and VITA YZ zirconia substructures. Special emphasis was placed on using the artistic and scientific theory of shade selection.
