Sun Dental Labs schedules first customer conference in Florida
Sun Dental Labs – a full-service dental laboratory serving dentists and dental labs worldwide – is planning a conference for their customers on April 13 at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa in Clearwater.
The theme of the conference is "First Impressions Count" for several reasons.
First, GC America will be offering a continuing education course on taking dental impressions. "Poor impressions are the number one issue with our remake figures," explained Margie Eaddy, Accounts Receivables for Sun Dental Labs. "By offering a free educational opportunity at a fabulous resort during Spring in Florida, we're hoping many of our dentists will improve their impression-taking skills."
Second, it is the first time many of the Sun Dental Labs' team will be meeting their customers face-to-face. "Since this is our inaugural customer conference, we will be working to build relationships as well as educating attendees on our products and services," explained Chuck Tagliarino, Sun Dental Labs' Lab Manager. "It will be nice to meet some of the dentists I've been working on implant cases with for almost five years!"
During the one and a half day event, attendees can choose from several informative sessions including:
- CAD/CAM options for dentists and labs
- Chair-side adjustment of Sunflex partial dentures
- Overview of Sun Dental Labs products and services
- Educating patients and dentists about new products
- Cementation Innovations, Tips and Techniques
There will also be a welcome dinner Thursday night, April 12, and a cocktail party Friday evening. The Florida Dental Laboratory Association will be hosting a deep sea fishing tournament Saturday morning and golf and spa outings are available as well.
