Economically Attractive Callisto 75 Pd

Callisto 75 Pd is a type 4 alloy with a high modulus of elasticity and 0.2% proof stress. The alloy is therefore suitable for a broad range of indications, including implant superstructures. In addition, the alloy is compatible with the Press-on-Metal technique. The balanced mechanical properties of Callisto 75 Pd provide for convenient handling, particularly during grinding with tungsten carbide burs. The behaviour of Callisto 75 Pd resembles that of gold alloys during this processing step. Appropriate shading of the metal-ceramic restoration is achieved consistently and easily as a result of the bright oxide.
