EAO Awards First Certificates in Implant-Based Therapy

The European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) has awarded its first ever certificates in implant-based therapy.
Four dentists from Japan, Sweden and Portugal, were the first to be awarded the certificates earlier this month after undergoing a rigorous final examination to test their skills and knowledge.

GC America Opens New Facility

GC America Inc. (GCA) is very pleased to announce a grand opening ceremony was recently held for their expansion and renovation project. A 40-year resident of Alsip, Ill.’s industrial community, GCA expanded its manufacturing facility by 25 percent to 100,000 square feet. The new facility includes a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. GC Corporation (GCC) has transplanted its dental stone manufacturing plant from Japan to Alsip.

Pankey Institute Offers New Opportunity to Lab Technicians

The Pankey Institute’s new Chairman of Education, Dr. Jim Kessler, hopes to increase partnered learning by the members of the restorative team, the dentist and dental laboratory technician. Thanks to the Pankey Institute’s faculty, alumni and corporate scholarship donors, we are able to offer a new tuition policy designed to support that partnered learning. In addition, the tuition for the Pankey Essentials courses has been lowered, and lodging in the Pankey Lodge condos is now included in that lower tuition.
